DARLING: Dorothy Darling (Dot) is an Enrolled
Agent. An Enrolled Agent is an income tax specialist
who is licensed to practice before the Internal Revenue
Service. As a licensed practitioner, Dot can represent
clients during audits and other matters concerning the
Internal Revenue Service and the State of Michigan.
Dot has a Bachelors in Business Administration Degree
with a major in Accounting from Davenport University
where she graduated with high honors. She has over 20
years of experience in providing Accounting, Consulting
and Income Tax services. She is married and has three
daughters. |

JOHN
BLOM:
John has prepared taxes professionally for twelve years,
specializing in individual and small business returns.
Retired from the Zeeland Public Schools, he taught mathematics,physical
education, driver education and coached football and
basketball. His past employment includes experience in
the concrete construction industry and retail sales.
He is currently serving on the consistory of Rosewood
Reformed Church where he formerly served as church treasurer.
John and his wife have two married daughters and two
grandchildren. |

MELISSA
RUDY:
Melissa Rudy has been the Executive Secretary at Bredeweg
Tax & Accounting since January 2001. Melissa graduated
from Muskegon Business College with an Associates Degree
in Computer Science. Melissa provides excellent customer
service and her organization skills help our office
run smoothly! Melissa is married with four children. |

NELIS:
Jean Nelis has been with Bredeweg Tax & Accounting
as a Payroll and Accounting assistant since November
2000. She graduated from Western Michigan University
with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with
a major in Accounting. She is married with four daughters. |

KATHY
KOOLS:
Kathy returns to Bredeweg this year after
trying “retirement”!
She has more than twenty years of experience preparing
tax returns for a wide variety of clients, combining
tax knowledge with superb customer service. She
looks forward to working with clients again! |

DALE VANDER WALL
Dale comes to Bredeweg with over 30 years of experience in small business accounting, tax preparation, and consulting. He has an extensive background in the real estate and mortgage industries. He volunteers as a math tutor at the Holland Rescue Mission. Dale is currently a board member and serves as treasurer of Families Victorious, a non-profit organization which provides support to addicts and their families who struggle with addiction issues. Dale is active in his church where he trains budget counselors, does individual budget counseling, and leads a support group for the unemployed. He is married with two daughters and 3 grandchildren.

BECKY VAN DORT
Becky is enjoying her return to the tax and accounting profession after working in ministry for ten years. Before ministry work, she had provided tax, accounting and payroll services in the Holland area for close to 20 years. Becky is working toward renewing tax licensing and accounting certifications. She is a certified as a QuickBooks Pro advisor. She and her husband of 30 years enjoy family time with their two daughters, and many outdoor activities.

CHRISTINE VALDEZ
Christine Valdez has returned to the accounting profession after taking time off to stay home with her three children for the last 10 years. Before children, Christine worked in public accounting auditing financial statements. She holds an inactive CPA license in the state of Florida and is working towards reactivating and transferring her license to Michigan.
